ETSI and Open Banking Europe (OBE) will organize the eIDAS meets PSD2 workshop, an event on securing access to financial services with qualified certificates. This one day workshop will take place on 20 March 2018 at ETSI Headquarters in Sophia Antipolis.
As part of OBE’s mission to bring together the different stakeholders involved in PSD2 and supports the regulatory aims of facilitating innovation, competition and efficiency, while avoiding fragmentation, Open Banking Europe is partnering with ETSI to bring the industry together.
This event takes place during the consultation of PSD2 eIDAS certificate which has been developed alongside the work of the Open Banking Europe members.
The ETSI standard for the use of EU Qualified Certificates, as defined in Regulation (EU) No 910/201 (eIDAS), profiled to meet the requirements for securing communications between payment services under Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (PSD2) and is available here for public review and comment .
